About Us

Gateau Physical Therapy "GPT" has been a trusted name in Southern Maryland rehabilitation for more than three decades, founded in 1987. The GPT practice began in a small clinic with a growing reputation for compassionate, results-driven care, the clinic expanded rapidly and soon became one of the region’s most respected outpatient therapy providers.

As our commitment to patient care strengthened, Gateau Physical Therapy expanded and in October 2011, Gateau Physical Therapy opened its newly constructed, state-of-the-art clinic at 23123 Camden Way in California, Maryland. That same year, we were honored to receive the Small Business of the Year Award from the College of Southern Maryland recognition of our commitment to excellence, community service, and patient-centered care.

Today, Gateau Physical Therapy proudly operates exclusively from our California, MD location, following the closure of our Lusby clinic. While our footprint has changed, our mission and dedication remain stronger than ever.
